ATTORNEY VICTORIA LANIER

Attorney Lanier focuses her practice on all aspects of Family Law, including custody and visitation, divorce, alimony, relocation, and child support. She also routinely handles post-judgment matters including contempts or modification of existing orders. She has represented many clients in child protection cases in Juvenile Court, as well as assisted clients with obtaining or defending against temporary restraining orders. Having previously worked in banking and finance, Attorney Lanier is well equipped to handle cases involving self-employed business owners or complex financial matters.

She dedicates a significant part of her practice to working as a Guardian Ad Litem in cases where she is appointed by the Court to make recommendations and advocate for the best interests of minor children in contested custody cases.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the field, Attorney Lanier looks forward to meeting with you and assisting as you address all of your family law needs.

ATTORNEY ANNA HOBERMAN

Attorney Hoberman is a graduate of Connecticut College (1992) and The University of Connecticut School of Law (1998.) While in law school she was recognized for proficiency in advocacy when named an Outstanding Oral Advocate the annual Moot Court competition. Attorney Hoberman was also a member of the Client Advocacy Board.

Attorney Hoberman has experience assisting clients from a broad range of economic circumstances. She has worked in the Child Protection field in addition to her work with clients in the Family Court, where she has experience with custody, visitation, dissolution of marriage, child support, establishing paternity and restraining and protective orders.

Having trained as a mediator, Attorney Hoberman is prepared to work collaboratively when possible to resolve any issues that arise between parties, and is a trained Guardian Ad Litem, capable of representing the best interests of children in Court.

JULIE ROWELL

Julie joined Lanier Legal Group in early 2021. She has worked as a family law paralegal for over ten years. She is also experienced in many other areas of the law.

Julie uses her diverse skills and knowledge gained from years of experience to help families in transition by providing detailed support to the attorneys and her clients. From complex litigation cases to simple uncontested divorces and everything in between, she is involved from beginning to end.

FURRY FRIENDS

Maya (far right) is a nine year old Vizsla. She is a great office dog and loves spending her days with her work family, napping in the sun in Anna’s office and playing with Dixie. Maya enjoys going for walks and she is always up for a snack.

Dixie (far left) is a two year old Goldendoodle. She is the office baby and definitely has youngest puppy syndrome. She is always bounding and playing and is still working on developing appropriate office dog manners.

Rufus (middle) is a two year old Great Pyrenees. If you are lucky enough to stop in on a day when Rufus is here, you will find him in the first office standing quietly behind a gate waiting patiently for a pat on his big furry head.
